T    he full form of LIC AAO is Life Insurance Corporation ( LIC AAO Syllabus ) Assistant Administrative Officer. It is a national level examination for the recruitment of officers to various posts. It is conducted once a year to recruit aspiring candidates to various posts.

The examination is conducted in two languages English and Hindi. The recruitment process has three stages. The first stage is Prelims which will have objective type multiple-choice based questions. The second stage is Mains which will have Descriptive type questions. Third and final stage is the personal interview. 

 About Life Insurance Corporation:  Life Insurance Corporation of India or LIC India is a public sector insurance and investment company with more than 3000 offices and INR 16 Lakh Crore managed assets. Constituted by an Act of Parliament, it is headquartered at Mumbai, India.

It was established on 1st September 1956 with the sole purpose of providing insurance to every citizen of India. It now employs nearly 1,14,000 employees and has 6 subsidiaries including IDBI Bank. LIC (Life Insurance Corporation of India) is an autonomous body which conducts this exam. 

LIC AAO Exam is conducted to select the competent candidates suitable for this post. As the competition is high, it is essential for the candidates to have the proper knowledge about syllabus to qualify for the LIC AAO Exam.
